Circuit Barn Weekend

The barn weekend raised £632 on Saturday and £326 on Sunday, so a total of £958 was raised for Zimbabwe Victim Support Fund.
A huge "THANK YOU" to all who worked to make the weekend such a success.  Many people are involved in the preparation beforehand and clearing up afterwards, as well as working on the nights themselves, and we are grateful to them all.  We are especially thankful to Christopher, Ruth, George & Sally Renner for all their work behind the scenes and hosting us at their farm

Effective Christian Presence

Effective Christian Presence takes place on the 20th and 21st July at Cliff College. It is hoped that from this a book will be published around the theme from a Methodist URC perspective.

The Encounter programme is a tried and tested approach that helps people explore what God has in store for them.   “Encounter – how to lead a group” will help people who are interested in nurturing others and enabling them to explore what God is calling them to.

So if you are you the kind of person who likes to help others see where God is leading them and have a passion for helping those who are trying to work out their place in God’s world then please do come along.

Thank you

Proposed Circuit Merger

 Click for details

We propose to merge 'STAMFORD and RUTLAND' and 'SOUTH LINCOLNSHIRE' circuits. Sadly our request came too late to be ratified by Lincs District Council; now we are aiming to merge in September 2017

"The Connexion"

New Methodist Church magazine

The Methodist Church are publishing a new magazine "The Connexion", and for the next issue they are asking for stories about use of "The Arts" in Mission.  The crucial part of the theme is "in mission" because they want to highlight where the creative energy within churches and circuits is winning people for Christ; whether through fine art, music, drama or something else.  Revd. Andy Fyall will forward any contributions.
