Street Pastors' Anniversary

On 19th April The Stamford Street Pastors will be celebrating FOUR! years of patrolling the streets of Stamford

The Very Reverend Mark Warwick will lead a service

at All Saints Church in Stamford at 6.30pm on Sunday 19th April 2015 to mark this event 

Guest Speaker will be Mike Freeman from The Street Pastors Initiative and The Ascension Trust.

 There will also be testimonies from members of the team.

The district are almost desperate to find volunteer lay folk with the appropriate gifts and skills who are willing to serve.

If anyone is interested, they should contact Andy Fyall in the first instance and preferably before Synod on 25th April!

Anyone who might be thinking of candidating for ordained ministry is invited to join the small group for the remaining three sessions of the What next, Lord? course - May 9th at Cliff College Ė Responding to Godís grace; June 13th at Ollerton Methodist Church Ė Candidating and Portfolios (Superintendents and mentors are invited to join this session); July 11th at Epworth Rectory Ė So whatís a Methodist?

"The Connexion"

New Methodist Church magazine

    The Methodist Church are publishing a new magazine "The Connexion", and for the next issue they are asking for stories about use of "The Arts" in Mission.  The crucial part of the theme is "in mission" because they want to highlight where the creative energy within churches and circuits is winning people for Christ; whether through fine art, music, drama or something else.  Revd. Andy Fyall will forward any contributions.

Sankey evening at the Free Church

On Friday 24 April everyone is invited to a Sankey evening at the Free Church at 7.30pm. Free admission. Light refreshments.
